Join us on February the 12th for an enlightening afternoon at Microsoft office in Bjørvika, as we explore how technology and diversity are transforming the workplace and what the future of work might look like. We will delve into this topic through three engaging talks, followed by a panel discussion featuring esteemed experts in the field.

Speakers

  • Ksenja Kusmin, Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft.Unpacking AI’s Promise and Pitfalls in Fostering Workplace Diversity: AI tools like Copilot are revolutionizing the workplace, offering new efficiencies and inclusivity. Yet, they also pose challenges. The talk will critically examine AI’s impact on workplace diversity and inclusion. We’ll dive into how AI broadens access to roles and opens opportunities for diverse individuals, while also addressing the potential for it to unintentionally reinforce biases and devalue certain skills. Ksenja Kusmin is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft and Co-Chair of Women@Microsoft Norway. With a rich background at organizations such as CERN, Amazon, and FinTech startups, she is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech industry. Ksenja is dedicated to inspiring and empowering underrepresented groups in tech through events such as Girls Tech Fest, providing opportunities for networking and professional development, and promoting allyship and inclusion. She is passionate about coding and exploring the frontiers of technology, including the world of generative AI and prompting, always seeking innovative ways to enhance human-machine interaction.

  • Lore Groza, Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft.The importance of AI and diversity in high performance teams: Discover how to craft stellar teams that harness AI and diversity as their core strengths. By tapping into the rich variety of views, backgrounds, and talents of your team members, you can spark innovation and ethics in your solutions.
